Our service allows users to track public YouTube channels, automatically detects newly uploaded videos through RSS feeds, extracts publicly accessible subtitles/transcripts, uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini Flash & Groq) to generate structured 3-level digests, and delivers these digests via email and the web dashboard.

3. Third-Party Content & YouTube Disclaimer

Independent Status: VideoLetter is an independent product and is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with YouTube, Google LLC, Alphabet Inc., or any of their subsidiaries. YouTube is a registered trademark of Google LLC.

Content Ownership: Videos, titles, thumbnails, and original spoken transcriptions processed by VideoLetter are the intellectual property of their respective video creators and copyright holders. VideoLetter provides automated AI summaries and private personal study digests under principles of fair use and individual knowledge consumption.

4. Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer

Summaries are generated automatically using large language models (such as Google Gemini Flash). While we implement advanced prompt engineering and quality controls, automated AI summaries may occasionally contain minor inaccuracies, omissions, or interpretive shifts.

VideoLetter does not provide professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. Critical facts or factual assertions should always be verified against the direct source video link provided inside every digest.

5. User Accounts & Security

To access features of the platform, you must register for an account using a valid email address or third-party authentication (such as Google OAuth). You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete account information;
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of your account login credentials;
• Promptly notify us at support@getvideoletter.com if you suspect unauthorized access;
• Confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or possess legal capacity in your jurisdiction.

6. Subscriptions, Pricing & Merchant of Record

Free Plan: VideoLetter provides a complimentary Free plan with tracking limits (e.g., 1 channel, 1 video digest per day) to allow users to evaluate the service at no cost.

Paid Subscription Plans: We offer premium tiers (Starter, Pro, Ultra) providing expanded channel limits, higher daily processing capacity, and priority delivery. Details and pricing are available on our Pricing Page.

Recurring Billing & Cancellation: Paid subscriptions automatically renew on a monthly or annual basis unless canceled prior to the billing date. You can cancel anytime via the Customer Portal or by emailing support@getvideoletter.com.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

You agree not to use VideoLetter to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the service;
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially sublicense VideoLetter services without explicit written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VIDEOLETTER, ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
